Recognizing Our Out of Field Teachers 25-26

Annabel C. Perry PreK-8 is proud to recognize several teachers who are expanding their professional expertise beyond their current certifications. These dedicated educators are pursuing additional college coursework and training to become certified or endorsed in new subject areas. This commitment ensures that our students benefit from teachers who are continuously developing their skills and content knowledge.

Teachers Expanding Their Certification:

• Kristin Chandler: Currently certified in Biology 6-12, Middle Grades Science 5-9, and Gifted Endorsed; working toward certification in Social Science.
• Angel Johnson: Currently certified in Elementary Education K-6; working toward certification in Access Language Arts-3.
• Jedalyn Landrito: Currently certified in Elementary Education K-6; working toward ESOL Category 1 endorsement.
• Maria Salvador: Currently certified in Elementary Education K-6; working toward ESOL Category 1 endorsement.

These teachers will complete the required training within 12 months of their new assignments, or according to the Multicultural Education Training Advocacy (META) timeline for those teaching English or Reading to limited English proficient students.
